Gods among us-part XXXVII

 Anna heard the outdoor closing and she bursted into tears again. Idiot! She kept thinking. You're an idiot Anna for believing in him, for believing in another pointless relationship. She put her face between the pillows and she let the tears running down her face. 5 min later, she sat on the bed. She looked herself in the mirror across her bed and saw her eyes all red snd swollen from crying. She stood up unwillingly, got undressed and went to the shower. As soon as the water started running down to her face, she started crying again. 

Mark, Mary and Phil arrived at Nora's house.
"Will you call your friends fiancé?" Mary asked Mark.
Mark nodded.
"Yes, lets go inside and I will call her."
Phil got the keys out and opened the frond door.
They went in and found every one waiting for them.
"Finally" Amy said and stood up. "What happened?" 
Nora was still sitting in her armchair looking outside.
Mark went to her immediately.
"It's over." he said and gave her a soft kiss on her lips. She touched his face and looked at him with love.
"I know" she said quietly.
"Will someone tell us what happened?" Alex asked impatiently.
Mary went to him.
"We will my love. Let's all sit down and we will tell you everything." Mary said.
"I need to call JJ" Mark said. "But you guys can start. I'll be back in 5 min." He said and left the room.

JJ's phone rung. She took it and saw Mark's name on it.
"Who's calling?" Niko asked.
"Mark" JJ said surprised. "Why is he calling me?"
"Who knows?! Answer."
"Hi Mark."
"Hey how are you guys doing? Hope I'm not interrupting anything." Mark said smiling.
"How old are you?" Jj said and laughed. "What's up" 

"JJ, Anna needs you."
"What happened?"
"Ok without anesthesia" he said. "I broke up with her."
"Wait, what?" JJ yelled and Niko looked at her surprised. She put him on loudspeaker.
"I broke up with her." Mark repeated
Niko stood up. He remembered he thought.
"Why?" Jj asked.
"Don't ask why JJ just please go to her."
"You left her alone?"
"She sent me away." Mark defended himself.
Niko was walking up and down the room He remembered he thought. We need to hurry, he heard the familiar voice on his head. Usually he's the last to remember so if this happened again they are all together. We need to find out.
"Niko are you here?" JJ asked him and he realized that she had already hung up the phone.
"Yes" he said. "What did Mark say?"
"He broke up with Anna and he wants me to go and check with her."
"Yes, he's right."
"I'll call you once I have more information."
Niko nodded and JJ grabbed the keys and left.
We need to hurry the voice said. We need to be prepared...
