Gods among us-part XLVIII

"Again" Nora said to Lilly. "Concentrate. Focus in the target."
Lilly was looking at her angry and all sweat from trying.
She raised her hands in the height of her shoulders one more time and shaped the fingers as if she was holding a shield. No results.
"I can't." She whispered whilst she kneeled.
"Come on Athena." Nora said. "Again."
Lilly gave her one of her hating looks.
"I said I can't." She said again a bit louder.
"Maybe it's time to take a break. She's been trying for 3 hours Nora. " Mark said.
Nora looked at him with glowing eyes. She turned to Lilly calmed and showed her the target.
"Again." She said with a cold voice.
Lilly tried to stand up and looked at Nora frustrated. Her eyes started to glow.
"I...SAID....I...CAN'T..." she yelled. At the same time a shield appeared at her hands and she threw it frustrated at Nora's place. Nora remained calm and rose her hands creating a protected wall of peacock's "eye" tail. The shield hit the wall and returned at Lilly's hand.
"You did it!!!" Kate yelled excited and clapped her hands.
Lilly's looked surprised at her shield. Her eyes met Nora's.
"And now, aim the target." Nora said with her calm voice.

"You haven't said anything for the last 12 hours. You are just moving around like a ghost."
JJ raised her eyes and looked Niko's sad face.
"I'm thinking." She said.
"What?" Niko asked.
"I will tell you once I have an answer. "
"An answer to what?" Niko asked again.
"Shhh" she said by bringing her point finger in her lips. "Be quiet."

Anna woke up with a terrible headache. Since she broke up with Mark, correction, since he broke up with her, she can't sleep in peace as  result of a bad headache all day long. She stood up and looked herself in the mirror.
"Enough is enough." She said to herself. "It's time to move on."
She grabbed her phone and called JJ.
"Anna" she heard her friend saying through the phone. "Finally! I was worried about you."
A smile came into her lips. It was the first time after weeks that she smiled.
"No need to worry. I'm fine. I needed some time away. Wanna go for a drink?"
"Yes!" JJ said. "At 10 pm at the known bar?"
"Great. See you there."

"Will you go out with Anna?" Niko asked JJ.
"Yes" she answered. "I'm fine Niko. I heard what you said. I have something in my mind that might help you see your family again."
"Like what?" Niko asked by raising one of his eye brows.
"We'll discuss later." She said and went into the shower.

EN: Saturday. Anna was taking a shower when her phone rung. Mark answered sleepy. “Hello? Oh good morning Mrs Simons, yes she is taking a shower.” At the same time Anna came out. “Oh there she is” he said and handed the phone to Anna. “Your mother” he said and went back to bed. Anna took the phone. “Hi mom. Yes, I will leave in an hour, just got out of the shower. Yes, no he will not come. Yes mom I will stay there for the night and I will leave tomorrow. OK, yes I will drive carefully. See you later” she said and hung up the phone. “Mark?” Anna turned to him. “Mhm?” He said with closed eyes. She sat in bed next to him. “Are you sure you don't want to come?” “Yes” he said. “Enjoy the day with your parents.” he replied keeping his eyes closed. Anna gave him a soft kiss on his lips. “Thank you love.” She said and started getting dressed. Mark checked his phone. Hmm he thought, she hadn't text me yet.   Nora woke up early. EN: Anna was staring at Mark and Nora dancing. JJ saw her and tried to calm her down.  “Come on, I don’t think is something you should be worried about. Look, Niko is also dancing with Debbie. Is really nothing.” “I don’t know JJ. I mean look at them. There is clearly something more between them. And since I don’t know who she is, I am worried. And yes, I am jealous. The last 2 weeks were really busy for all. They kept practicing, fighting, attacking to each other, even hurt each other but they didn't give up. Their will for victory and pushing the Titans back in prison was stronger than ever. "Is this all you can?" Sarah yelled at Tony.
