Gods among us-part LVII

Niko was talking whilst the rest were listening carefully.

"And then I was sent here to keep an eye on Zeus, make sure he wont remember this time."

"Wait, so you knew all along who I was? Even when I had no idea?" Mark asked and Niko nodded.

"I knew too!"JJ said. 

"Did you also knew that Nora was Hera when she first came here?" Mark asked ignoring JJ.

"No, I only knew your true identity."

"And how did they found you?" Nora asked and Niko continued explaining.

Back at Annaˋs place, Anna was very anxious. She was walking around the living room. What if JJ is right? What if the 12 Gods are real? What if Mark is one of them? Oh come on Anna you are being paranoid. Yes, but what if...

"Boah, i have to stop thinking that. Itˋs not true, the 12 Gods belong to the Mythology and thatˋs it!" she said out loud and full of frustration. Suddenly, her eyes fall on her lap top on the table. She turned it on and sat in frond of it.

"OK, lets see what we can find about those 12 Gods." she said and started typing.

"And that is the whole story." Niko said and everyone was thinking. Niko and JJ exchanged a look full of worries.

"And how do we know that you wonˋt do the same for them?"Mark said.

"You donˋt, you just have to trust me." Niko answered.

"And you will provide us every information that you will hear?" Lilly asked.

"Yes Athena, all you have to do is promise me that you free my family from those monsters" Niko said.

"You have our promise" Kate said.

"Thank you Hestia, I knew you of all would understand." Niko said and tears fall down of his eyes.

"What are you thinking?"JJ asked Nora.

"I am thinking, how we can free you from aunt Phoebe."

"Do you think itˋs possible?" Niko asked.

"Let me think of it, but now we need you to be in contact with her. What if we say that she can move on to a stronger vessel?"

"To make him sick?" Bea asked her and Nora nodded.

"Something like that but let me think it a bit more".

"So, you guys will help me right?" Niko asked again.

"Of course we will." Mark said and touched Nikoˋs shoulder. Niko smiled full of relief and gave Mark a hug.

"Duuuude" Mark said but returned the hug.

Few hours later, Anna closed her lap top troubled. She looked out of the window and took a deep breath. I need to go out she thought I canˋt stay here.

She grabbed her bag and step out of the house. She started walking thinking her life since she met Mark. She entered the park and sat in a bank watching some children playing. Suddenly she bursted into tears. This year, we were suppose to try to get me pregnant she thought. The sound of her phone made her whipe away her tears and check her phone. JJˋs name was in the screen. She ignored it.

"Who are you calling?" Niko asked JJ.

"Anna but she is not answering."

"How is she?" Mark asked.

"She is hanging in there."

"Did she believed me?"

"I donˋt think so. She didnˋt even believed me when I told her that i also know."

"Maybe itˋs for the best." Nora said.

"Yes, maybe...."JJ said thinking.

"OK guys, we need to concentrate. Where were we?"

"It was my turn to gain back my power"James said.

"Oh cool, can we watch?" JJ said full of excitement. The rest looked each other.

"I donˋt think that this is wise." Bea said. "You are humans, and you canˋt see our true powers because it will kill you."

JJ was disappointed.

"Unless I raise a wall like I wanted to do with Anna when we visited her with Mark." Mary said.

"Do you think it will work? To be honest, I am not willing to take the risk." Bea said.

"I agree with Bea, we havent tried it to humans so letˋs not take the risk." Nora said and Mark nodded.

"I agree. Itˋs better if you and Niko could leave now JJ. thank you for all the help, but we need to concentrate if we want to win."

Niko nodded.

"Come on JJ, letˋs go. Mark is right."

"Yes, OK."JJ said disapointed. "Was really nice meeting you all!"

"Bye you guys" Mark said.

Niko took JJ and headed to the car. Once they were out of sight, Mark looked the rest.

"That was weird." Alex said it first.

"Yes" Amy said. "Do we trust them?"

"Well, we did a big mistake by telling them our real names!" Phil said.

"I trust them" Mark said. "Niko wouldnˋt take the risk coming here telling me everything. He knows what we are capable of and I know that he wouldnˋt take the risκ."

"Correction, he claims he knows." Bea looked at Mark.

"Whatever." Mark said. "I trust them"

"OK OK, enough talking. Letˋs get back to buisness!" Nora said.

"James, you are up next." Bea said.
